Unboxing and potting an indoor Coleus Houseplant from #eBay

Usually planted outdoors, with proper light and food, a coleus plant can make a great addition to your collection of house plants.

Steps

1. Use light well-drained soil into a pot

2. Place the plant in a south window, based on the intensity of the light will determine the foliage colour

3. Feed the plant with a liquid fertiliser but dilute 40%/50% in water

4. Any flower buds must be pinched off immediately

These plants are very durable so cut them back almost to soil level if they start looking too leggy.
